A strange incident materialized in Mexico when a skydiving enthusiast goes missing after he takes a dive. After knowing about this strange happening, Monk gets interested to investigate this case and travels to Mexico. On reaching Mexico Monk is entangled in a whole variety of dire hard situations. He has to deal with his own phobias followed by theft of his luggage. His ordeals do not end here, as he has to escape numerous attempts on his life as well. He is annoyed on not getting the supply of favorite brand of his bottled water. However, he continues his quest to identify the culprit behind all the murders that are committed while his stay in Mexico.
