An English teacher Beth Landow succumbs to his injuries after falling from a clock tower. The police strongly believes it to be a simple case of suicide. Monk has a special interest in this case as the unfortunate teacher was his wife’s ex-school teacher. He rejects it to be a simple case of suicide and looks to investigate to have a further insight into the circumstantial evidences that lead to death. His investigations point towards a science teacher but teacher has a strong reason in support of him being engaged elsewhere at the time of death of Beth Landow. Monk takes up the role of a replacement teacher to snap vital clues that lead to teacher’s death.
