Monk Episodes :- Mr. Monk and the Airplane

Monk accompanies his assistant Sharona to the airport thinking that she is going there to pick up her aunt. Monk is taken aback when he finds out that infact she is the one who is going to board the flight and fly to New Jersey. He is in two minds that whether he should board the plane and accompany her to New Jersey or look to carry on with his job as a detective even in her absence. He wins over his indecisiveness and boards the plane along with her. Being a first timer on a flight, he fires a number of questions, which annoys the other passengers. He looses his composure even more when a small glitch here and there makes him believe that a Frenchman, who is also on that flight, is the murderer of his wife and the woman escorting him is a sham. He makes a call to Captain Stottlemeyer to secure his help in this regard but he discovers that Captain is on leave. He is lucky, as he is able to convince Lt. Disher to explore the airport for a body. Sharona and an extension cord salesman sitting besides detective Monk team up to tap any evidence that will assist Disher to order the arrest. The situation worsens when the killer preys on another victim while Monk was trapped inside bathroom. Sharona helps Monk in escaping but the co-pilot is adamant and does not believe in their story. He sternly directs Monk to reoccupy his seat. Furious at the odd mannerism and stories cooked up by Monk the flight attendant disables the calling facility. Monk is not handicapped as he still has his mobile to call up Lt. Disher.
