Monk Episodes :- Mr. Monk and the Billionaire Mugger

A wealthy merchant named Sidney Teal turns thug. He is shot to death by a former cop named Archie Modine. Another police officer, who was also present when this unfortunate event materialized, flew from the scene. The story takes off when Stottlemeyer secures the assistance of detective Monk in this regard. The whole idea involving a billionaire turning into a mugger and then to be shot by an ex-cop is shrouded with mystery. The dead body of billionaire is found along with kneecaps and elbow pads. This adds up to mystery behind shooting of this billionaire. Sharona is furious after her paycheck bounces. She decides to quit her job. Stottlemeyer has to handle a herd of reporters demanding him to reveal the vital facts. Monk gives up the idea to investigate this case, as he is not able to cope up with his demanding job in her absence. Nevertheless, he cannot stop himself from investigating the hard to resolve mystery pertaining to his wife’s murder. He discovers a new clue but feels dejected when he finds that this new clue point to old clue itself. Sharona involves herself in the trade of selling lamps. Selling lamps seems monotonous to her. She changes her mind and decides to associate herself with Monk again. The detective team comes up with fresh clues about Sidney Teal and Archie Modine.
